City Church

The City Church Extension project involved a fabric and layout survey of the existing building and a condition survey of the building services prior to the design of an extension comprising a tea prep, accessible toilet and additional multi-purpose hall.  The brief required the team to prepare a design that presented a new frontage to the existing 1960’s build.  The intention was to use the multi-purpose space for general member and group use as well as for outreach open days which invite the public into the building.

As part of the work the existing building will be re-rendered and the existing building services upgraded with new energy efficient heat recovery ventilation units, low energy LED light fittings and energy efficient radiant panels.
